Serial comes from Nolimit City (released 2024) and leans into horror staging that wants the lights turned down. The demo on this page runs on play money, so you can learn every corner of it without spending a cent.
Below you will find the published numbers, a plain-English walkthrough of the mechanics and a short verdict. We are an independent Taboobet guide, not the casino itself, so treat this as a briefing rather than a sales pitch.

How Serial plays
Mechanically you are looking at a 5x3 reel layout and ways-to-win, plus xnudge, free spins and buy bonus. That is 15 visible positions in total — a tidy layout that keeps each spin easy to follow. Ways pay left to right on adjacent reels, so you don’t track individual lines. The in-game help screen is the authority on rules; the demo is the perfect place to read it without the meter running.
Features explained
The feature set is where a slot shows its character. In Serial the key pieces are:
- Xnudge. Nudging wilds grow their multiplier every time they shift into place.
- Free Spins. The free-spins bonus is the game’s main event: land the trigger and you get a batch of spins at no extra cost per spin.
- Buy Bonus. You can purchase direct entry to the bonus round for a set price. It is expensive, and bonus-buy is commonly excluded while a welcome bonus is active.
- Xways. xWays splits a position into multiple identical symbols, increasing the number of ways.
What the maths says about Serial
The published RTP is 96.07%, right around the usual 96% benchmark. RTP is a long-run theoretical average across millions of spins; it says nothing reliable about one evening. One caution: operators may choose between RTP settings, so confirm the figure inside the game at the casino you use. It is rated very high for volatility, which in practice means long droughts and rare, outsized hits — the most extreme risk profile. Serial caps wins at 74,800× your bet. It sets the tone for what the game is chasing, but it is a rare outcome.
Who will enjoy it
On paper, Serial suits seasoned players who accept that most sessions end below where they started. If you are drawn to horror and dark slots, the styling alone makes it worth a demo session. A word on the bonus buy: it skips the wait but multiplies the cost of each attempt, and casinos commonly block it on bonus money. Not sure? Spin the demo for a while and watch how your play-money balance moves; it is the cheapest lesson available.
Playing it with the welcome bonus
Taboobet’s after-dark picks are slots that look and feel like the brand: shadowed, a little dangerous, and best played with a clear head and a fixed budget. If you want to take it further, Taboobet’s welcome package currently reads 400% + 400 Free Spins (400% + 400 free spins from a $35 minimum deposit, plus 9 fs no deposit for new users). Free spins are credited on the slots Taboobet names in the offer, which may or may not include Serial; bonus funds usually can be played on most slots, subject to the wagering, max-bet and excluded-games rules.

Bottom line
Our short verdict: Serial is a very high-volatility Nolimit City slot with horror staging that wants the lights turned down and a 96.07% published RTP. It is entertainment, not income — treat any spend as the price of a night’s fun.
